It wasn’t 10 minutes after I told you about the editor problem and I received a response from Elegant Themes. Here’s what they said.

If you see the Divi Back End Builder missing, you can easily enable it by going to Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced and enabled the Enable Classic Editor option.

I did just that, but kept the Classic Editor Plugin activated just in case they make a change later.

Anyway……..I have more patience with people than I do web systems. Why ? It’s that built in sense of urgency I have.

So cudos to the Elegant Themes support Team. It was much less than a 2 hour response.

I just went (only several days after getting Elegant Themes Instructions) to update other sites for the Classic Editor at Advanced and the instructions I had gotten from Elegant Support are already OUTDATED. They changed the Classic Editor option in Advanced to…..Enabling The Divi Builder option. DO NOT ENABLE THIS FEATURE.

AND BE SURE TO UPLOAD THE CLASSIC EDITOR PLUGIN AND ACTIVATE IT. That may end up to be our true fail safe.
Thank you very much.
