Tonight I went to the dashboard of a site I’ve been working on and to my surprise I was presented with a new form of Divi Builder. This was not by my choice and I am not prepared to use a modified form of a front end builder, especially as I want y’all to learn the basic module concept they feature in the “Builder Overview” video.

It seems Elegant Themes really wants us to use the Visual Builder. So far I’ve not gotten a response as to how I switch back to the other format.

So I started to do my own digging and guess what?

I found a plugin that when activated allows me to use the original format.

Here it is………………….CLASSIC EDITOR

It can be found on the WordPress.org website under plugins. Search on Classic Editor, click the Classic Editor icon and once on the CE page download it to your desktop and then you can upload it to your website.

An alternative and shorter way is to do it all from your website dashboard. Click on Plugins down the left side under Dashboard. Probably half way down. That will bring you to all active plugins. At the top click on Add New. Then enter classic editor into the search dialogue box and hit enter.

That will take you right to WordPress.org and you can download the Classic Editor from there. Make sure to activate it.

Now your good to go.
