Have you ever been on WordPress.org looking for a Plugin? If so, take a look at how many Pages of plugins are available to do the task you want on your website. And then think about how you go about choosing one. To help you along with your choosing I’ve created some guidelines below in an effort to help.
Check how many subscribers use this plugin. Is it 500 or 50,000?
Check when it was last updated. Was it 6 days or 6 years?
Check which WordPress version it is compatible with. Is it 3.0 or 5.0?
Check comments for user helpfulness, response times, and how well it works.
Check the Details of the plugin to find out what it actually does. Does it do the one thing you want or 20 other things as well?
All the above are clues to guide your selection process.
